Kapolei

A rapidly growing community known for its larger, more affordable homes and new developments

Welcome to Kapolei

World-class amenities and an upscale dining and real estate scene in a growing, modern suburban setting

Also known as Oahu's Second City, Kapolei is a rapidly growing community known for its larger, more affordable homes and new developments. The master-planned community gets its name from a volcanic cone called Pu'u o Kapolei. First envisioned in the Estate of John Campbell's "Ewa Master Plan," it has grown to become an enticing bedroom community.

Kapolei offers many real estate options, with an abundance of single-family homes and townhouses. Properties with lanais, open floor plans, and fenced-in layouts are spread throughout different communities. Designed with families in mind, homes in Kapolei are generally more spacious and more affordable by Hawaii's standards. They are also great for families with ties to nearby military bases.

What to Love

Local Lifestyle

Kapolei has plenty to offer new and long-time residents, including an array of modern amenities, restaurants, big-box stores, water parks, resorts, movie theaters, top-performing schools, a university, and more.

There's plenty of unused land, and you can't drive more than a few minutes without seeing some kind of construction. This ongoing development is a constant reminder that the best of Kapolei is yet to come.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Kapolei residents have access to various shopping outlets at Kapolei Commons and Kapolei Shopping Center. However, they all take a backseat to Ka Makana Ali'i, an open-air retail center in Kapolei with over 100 stores, restaurants, and entertainment options.

There is even a Consolidated Theater with reclined seats and a Hampton Inn/Suites for visitors. You can grab a bite at Aunty's Hotpot House once you are done exploring. It serves hotpot, dragon cucumber, giant fried pork chop, and more.

Down to Earth Kapolei specializes in organic groceries, fresh juices, prepared foods, and lifestyle and skincare products.
Living in Kapolei also puts you within proximity of excellent restaurants. Highlights include Kazoku Sushi, which offers a wide selection of sushi on a conveyor belt. Head to Moani Island Bistro Kapolei for perfectly cooked ribeye, calamari, and pork chops.
